Ignite

News and views for Cognosis clients

Dear Oscar

Happy New Year and a warm welcome to the first Ignite of 2010.

Back in April 2009, we piloted an interactive online tool enabling people to profile their Strategy Styles by taking a short five minute test – DiscoverEDGE was born. We received lots of feedback, for which we are very grateful, and have now analysed the results to update the tool. After all the hard work, this month we are pleased to announce the launch of the new and improved DiscoverEDGE.

We hope that in its new format, DiscoverEDGE will provide you with even more intelligent insight into your personal Strategy Style, as well as that of your team and organisation. We invite you you to take a few minutes to trial it in its new format below.

DiscoverEDGE in Action

The recession changed the corporate landscape and with few management teams ever having experienced such a tough climate, there were inevitably doubts and fears about how they would be able to handle the situation together.

One of the main challenges faced by our clients was to ensure that the strategic plans they had put in place six, or even three months, previously, still had the buy-in and support of the management team. If the previously strong strategic alignment of the team had changed in any way it was essential to know so that any necessary amends to the strategy could be implemented speedily.

DiscoverEDGE allowed one of our clients to tackle this head on and they were able to make a full assessment of how each individual was aligned to the strategy in light of the new market environment. Thankfully in this instance confidence in the strategy remained high and the team was able to move forward as a strong unit without any worries that their hard work over the past few years had been jeopardised by recession.

Use our FREE QUESTIONNAIRE to profile your personal strategy style now or get in touch to organise a team or organisational profiling taster session.
