Psychology of Recession

To successfully manage change, managers must first understand the process individuals go through while experiencing it.

To successfully manage change, managers must first understand the process individuals go through while experiencing it.

The Psychology of Change Model describes the change process as a four-room apartment. Individuals inhabit/pass through each 'room' at some point in the change process with each room representing a particular stage of the cycle and the associated psychological implications.

At a recent Breakfast Briefing, Cognosis profiled individual clients and their organisations to determine where they were currnetly positioned in the change process.

Understanding Marketing Investment Effectiveness

In the current economic environment it goes without saying that marketing budgets will continue to come under intense scrutiny.

Unfortunately, when faced with this challenge, many companies give up and purely evaluate effectiveneses within different silos; and that's a huge missed opportunity.

The smartest companies approach marketing effectiveness not just as a quantitative measure of success, but as an opportunity to change the behaviour of the organisation:treating the marketing budget as an investment not a cost code; creating a culture of continuous improvement; and impacting both the planning & implementation cycle.

Contact John Hosking for more information on how we are helping clients deliver a step-change in the marketing effectiveness.
